Quick One

This Sunday update will be a short one, as it was a pretty quiet week, but it won't be a quiet weekend.
A few of us went to the beach on Monday and saw our first jellyfish. Jellyfish season starts around now and sort of kills the summer swimming season because they're huge and purple and sting. I would have gotten a picture of it except that we all squealed like little girls and ran away and then couldn't find it again.
This week I laid pretty low and waited for payday on Friday, but tonight I'm heading up to Wajima for the Wajima Taisai Festival, one of the biggest festivals in the prefecture. I'm not exactly sure why they do it, other than just to celebrate summer. Apparently there is a parade with 40-foot lanterns, so I should have many more pictures and stories up on Wednesday.
I also took out my trash successfully for the first time! There are different trash days for everything on the list, and it's pretty confusing. Here's a picture of how things piled up before I figured out what to do.
